Truly world class. Yum yum yum yummy meat. Got a great cut of beef last week and just cooked it up for my family during a spooky BBQ. DEFINITELY recommend this place. Delicious!

I had high hopes for this place based on a recent writeup in an alt-weekly, so spouse and I went down to check it out. The Good: Service is attentive and quick. The space itself is charming, tucked away in a little residential neighborhood. The space is also clean and well-maintained. The Bad: The first thing we saw when we rolled up was a sign for a 2nd Amendment rally. If you think school shootings are bad, the owners do not want your business. Oblige them. There is a brand of spices they sell which is all named variants on sh*t and has pinups on the packaging. It's gross marketing if you're not a misogynist that hates food. The food was aggressively mediocre. We got a New York strip steak that was just super-mid. It was food! It tasted ok! But it's not worth paying actual American dollars for, when you can get it for 2/3 as much at your local market, or get actual good food somewhere. We also got the peppered bacon; the peppercorns were kind of ground and kind of not, so they didn't taste great, and the bacon itself tasted like the pig had a hard life and died badly. The bread for the sandwiches was ok. The tri-tip on the sandwich was well-seasoned, but ordinary. Overall, unless you're making a right-wing political statement, just pass. The owners don't want your money anyway.

I had a sandwich here for the first time and found it to be really excellent. The roast beef was flavorful and had a nice, smoky aroma. The works that was put onto the Dutch Crunch roll made a nice, juicy, delicious sandwich. The service was friendly and efficient. It should be mentioned that their meat counter looks excellent with really beautiful cuts of fresh meat and smoked products. They smoke their own and everything looked great. I wish I lived closer and could enjoy this place more frequently.

Arguably the best sandwiches in Watsonville and you can pick up some good quality meat. Smoked brisket sandwich melts in your mouth.
