Empanada Guy - Freehold

There was a glitch in the 'Matrix. ' The store was closed and the online system took my order anyway. While on the phone, I ran into the owner. After I explained what happened, he tried to refund me out of his own pocket. He then went into the store and gave me Par-fried empanadas. I live 25 minutes away. They were better and hot cooked at home. It was a good compromise. He still has my business!

I visited this place for three weeks and they were closed until one day they weren't. Very good empanadas: chicken, cheese or beef. I wish they would have toasted my Cuban sandwich a little more in the panini style.

Great food as always is having the option to buy frozen empanadas is great. Empanada Guy’s empanadas are USDA certified which is a huge accomplishment for a small business. Also it makes it easy to track calories and be able to eat empanadas and stay healthy. I have nothing but good things to say about this food and the owner.

Tried them for the first time today. Very nice inside, food is take out only and there is only some waiting seating. They've got both hot and frozen empanadas, I tried the beef and the guava/cheese. I loved loved loved the guava/cheese one but there wasn't anything so special about the beef but at least it wasn't hollow or anything like some of the reviews I browsed.
