Bourbons On Main - Freeport

This place needs a total overhaul. Been coming to this location for 30 years...even worked there. No personality, no ambiance, totally sterile.

Amazing drinks and good food! The bartender Wes, and the chef were both incredibly kind and a joy to chat with.

Excellent service, food and selection of bourbons! The jambalaya and spicy chicken were very good!

Tried this restaurant during a stay at the Hampton Inn. The atmosphere was nice and Wesley, our bartender/server was really knowledgeable with their whiskeys and cocktails. The Garlic Cheese Curds were really good but the Gumbo seemed like it had been warmed over a few times. My colleague had the Jambalaya, it was kinda mediocre as well. Previous reviews showed photos and menu with steaks, which their current menu does not include. I would visit again if staying here, maybe this was just not their best offering.

Fried okra with beer cheese was the bomb! Pretzel amber beer was tasty. Friendly bar staff made a very good old Fashioned.
