Gritty Mcduff's Brew Pub - Freeport

The atmosphere of this restaurant is wonderfully relaxing, complemented by attentive and caring service. It's beautifully situated next to the river, perfect for a stroll. I highly recommend the beer selection, especially if you enjoy pale ales; they have one brewed with fresh hops that was exceptional. I opted for the salmon special, which came with rice, steamed spinach, and carrots, all glazed with a maple wasabi sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection. The portion with sesame vinaigrette was fresh and light. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I left feeling very satisfied. This is definitely a great spot to visit!

I entered the restaurant and sat beside the brew master, who shared fascinating stories about the beers. I can't wait to return when the wind carries me back to Auburn. The atmosphere is truly delightful.

I always have a fantastic experience here. Tonight, I enjoyed the pesto pasta with blackened chicken, along with a salad and a glass of red wine. It was excellent and incredibly satisfying.

Great service and atmosphere today. I started the bar and pulled out into the deck. everyone was friendly and eating was great (pub mac and cheese).

Good food, reasonable prices for the portion sizes. I paid less than $20 with tip for a soda and a pizza for two. Only thing I have to mention. We had a couple of people who called ahead requesting seating for a large party. They definitely had the room for us, but the staff didn't seem too impressed when we showed up with the entire youth hockey team and their parents. Maybe a few days notice would have been helpful further to get the place staffed.
