Looking over the menu brought disappointment... Where's the Seafood!?!? The only seafood on the menu was a fish basket ?. No gumbo, no shrimp, no catfish... What tha heck?? Most of us had to just get a burger... Which were decent. Server was nice and worked hard for us. Atmosphere was nice. Just would expect some seafood from a place on the water
Nice little spot on the water. We pulled our boat up after a long day of fishing; needed a little land time and some food. The patio is really pretty! There’s a nice tree in the middle of the deck. The indoor space is large with high top bench seating and a bar area. The atmosphere is chill and the service is good. We had the ‘Crab Stuffed Greatness’ crab jalapeño fried poppers and spinach artichoke dip with chips. Everything was very good. The poppers come with ranch for dipping.I was a little surprised they use styrofoam cups. That material is so bad for our environment and being an establishment right on the water, I would think they would be more mindful.Anyway, all in all, the experience was good and I will return on our next trip. I have been a couple other times after a fishing day. It’s a fun spot. … maybe they will change the cup situation. ??
Really enjoy this place! The food was fresh and the fried food has a good crunch. Ordered Shrimp, boudin egg rolls, and the fried catfish. Has a beautiful deck and you can do karaoke depending on the day you go! Go check it out!
Great food, waitress was helpful since it was our Friday visit. Boudin egg rolls were awesome. We will be back.
Quite possibly the worst seafood I 've ever experienced. We picked up Southern fried catfish dinner and a dozen fried shrimp dinner. The shrimp dinner had a strong, bad odor we noticed as soon as opening the container (back at our motel). The shrimp were old and and had almost a spoiled taste. Completely ineatable. The catfish was supposed to be fried in Cajun spice batter, but was covered in nothing more than plain cornmeal. Further, the fillets were fast fried so the batter was crispy but the fish itself had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Also utterly ineatable. In addition, being located right on the coast, one would expect fresh products, breaded in house. However, these entrees were obviously previously prepared and frozen...likely purchased from a wholesale company or restaurant supply company such as Sisco, White Swan, Costco or Sams.$40.00 utterly wasted.
