Seahorse Grill - Freeport

We made our first vacation/long weekend to Freeport/Surfside Beach. This place was recommended by a family friend and boy did not disappoint it! We had our family dog with us so we learn that the terrace/beach visibility allowed dogs already started things right. We were greeted on the way up the stairs and sat almost immediately with the most amazing view of the golf and the beach. The waitress we had was fantastic. Kept the drinks on top, recommended some of their favorites and was always great about the review. We started with 2x orders of cooked prawns for appetizer and it was fantastic! Excellent spice, not too much spice and the cocktail sauce was definitely not bought (what tasted amazing! . We had several drinks (Hurricanes and Margaritas, which I thought tasted. I had the grilled golf snapper and it was delicious! My father had the chicken steak and it covered the whole plate! The dirty rice left a little to wish, but he might not just have my taste. Overall, I would recommend this place to everyone! Between the views, delicious food and great waitress we will definitely return when we go back to Surfside.

Nice view. Good food and friendly staff. Good cheese triangles. Coconut shrimp was delicious. Mahi mahi was a bit dry, but good. Dessert... Blueberry cheesecake was so delicious!

This is one of the best beach restaurants in surfside! we had fantastic service. our lunch was perfection! the food was excellent. huge portions, I needed a 'to-go' box. the most amazing. the brise from the golf was fabulous. that is our new restaurant, especially when our family and friends visit us on the beach. 10 stars.

For lunch. fast, friendly and good service. great view of surfing from our outside table, completely in shade. the 1 lb burger was fantastic and the fresh, grilled texas redbarsch was just as good with homemade mac and cheese and well seasoned green beans. beer was pretty cold. highly recommended!

The only waiting we did was for them to set up a table for 8, which was quick. There's really no bad seating outside and the menu is full of many different dishes. My blackened shrimp were large, plump and delicious, actually everything on my platter was, my husband was impressed with the chicken fried chicken platter. Love how huge this place is, May was curtious and attentive. We will definitely be back.
