La Palmeraie - Fréjus

The location of this bar and restaurant is great! That's the only positive I can give! Ordered two cocktails - kir and caprainhia (apologies for spelling but it was vodka, lemonade and sugar) - both were disgusting! Kids meals were horrible - fruit juice never arrived and the crepe was like rubber. The spag Bol was the worst they had all holiday. I ordered chicken salad. Also horrendous! 5 or 6 tiny bits of chicken which were completely tasteless. Lettuce and tomatoes - a disgrace at 12 euros. Service was awful. Daughter left waiting 15 mins for her meal whilst the rest of us ate. We did not leave a tip. Honestly was the worst experience of our holiday - avoid!!!!! 160 euros - a complete rip off for awful food, drink and service!!

Food was bad! Soda 4€!!! We had diner with six persons and ordered different kinds of meals.all bad no taste and far too expensive

Chef went from toilet to smoke without hand washing, flour all over hands from making pizza and then back to kitchen! (Witnessed this - couldn't believe it, so glad didn't eat here!)Waitress got order wrong twice then tried to over charge us. Bad attitude from staff - couldn't care less. Avoid this place - needs closing down!

We went to La Palmeraie to have a good time but it was actually far from that.We had to wait 25mn to get a waiter and order. We ordered an apricot juice and a cocktail.After that, as our wait wasn't apparently enough, we had to wait 40mn to get the juice but still no cocktail.We were so angry that we just left the place. The staff was also very rude and didn't care about the customers whatsoever.

If you could award zero then this is the first restaurant I would do so for. Arrived at 7.45 and ordered drinks and a carafe of water. No drinks by 8.15 so asked twice. No drinks not even water so had to beg the staff for water which came 40 minutes after ordering. Pizza came, a little charred, OK, but no drinks. Asked again. Waitress said it would come. Finished meal - no drinks. The worst service I have ever had ever. Didn't pay for the drinks - no real apology. Would not recommend at all.
