The location suited us. Tranquil, spacious. Food was served promptly and tasted perfect. Service of til, waitress then waiter was outstanding. Many public locations say wheelchair friendly but a wide front opening or a ramp out front doesn't always suffice. This place had automated wide opening doors, space between tables for movement and a lift to access second level of cafe. We had a great experience.
Visited some approx 4 months ago and it was a disaster with food, coffee, and service was so slow. Went back again and pleasantly surprised food was out on time and coffee was also very quick. Last time it was definitely lack of staff knowledge when things got busy but it seems they must have trained people and maybe put some processes in place when it got busy. Will go back and let's see if it was a one off event as this place should be oozing with people constantly but I believe the damage has been done from when it was first opened and people reviewing not to come back.
Lets be honest now....its dome we're talking about here!! Its same old drinks and food, but with an amazing view. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the cafe has nice decor. Go around 6:30pm, get a table facing west and watch that sunset.
Went here for breakfast, really had a great time with the family, food was great service was great and the view is a must see. Has everything you expect from a Dome, but the location of this one is outstanding.
I'm generally not a big fan of Dome coffees but this has become one of our favourite brunch spots. It's a half-hour long drive from our place but the great view from upstairs over the marina and ocean makes it all worth the long trip. The atmosphere is nice, seatings are clean and cosy, food is decent, table service is above average, and all enjoyable at a reasonable price.
