Second time eating at this establishment. 6:30pm on a Wednesday evening place was half full. Wanting to try a variety of things. I ordered a glass of Sighesio Zinfandel $12, the 8 oz sirlion steak, added creamy sauted mushrooms $4, two sides chosed side salad with blue cheese dressing and parmeson potato au gratin $2.50, and bread with butter $1.50. The side salad looked small, but turned out to be the perfect portion. The steak was cooked the perfect medium rare, nice cut of meat and very tasty. The creamy sauted mushrooms were very flavorful and a nice addition with the steak. The parmesan potato augratin was a wedge shape side with a lot of very thin layers of potato, very compressed. I mentioned my birthday, and could choose a complimentary dessert. There were so many options that i narrowed done to key lime pie, Strawberry cheesecake or creme brulee...opted for the creme brulee. Servd in the perfect size ramekin dish with crispy top. Will be back!
I am very pleased with our experience this time around. Assuming management changed as well as the menu. The food was very good and priced very reasonable. Service was absolutely outstanding. Great little spot with, well above, average food. It is a basic restaurant atmosphere but with beautiful scenery. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
