Osteria Kayla - Fremont

Eating was delicious, service was excellent, inexpensive, beautiful location (historical city of fremont I recommend to eat definitiw here if they like Italian cuisine, or are in the mood for a mouth irrigation steak!

I stopped in while on business and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The shrimp penne pasta was fantastic and wine selection was adequate. Jen, the bartender, took great care of me and I was even able to have a couple of drinks with Bill, who was the owner of the building. They were a fun, tight-knit group who helped make the most of my evening in town. Highly recommend.

I was disappointed that there was no drink menu. We has the burger, seafood special and chicken marsala. The chicken Marsala is an 8.5 out of 10. The burger had too much jam on it so give it a 5.5 out of 10. The seafood special is definitely underflavored. But considering we are in Fremont, I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. All in all not a bad place to eat. Chill ambiance and good service. Would definitely comeback and try other things. Hopefully they have a drink menu printed by then.

This place is awesome!! The staff is so nice the drinks and food are top tier!! You need to eat here!

Great atmosphere but the menu says sea scallops and what I received was bay scallops. The manager said they shrink when cooked. I am an avid home cook and have prepared my fair share of sea scallops and they don't shrink to the size of bay scallops. All I wanted to suggest was take sea off the menu because they are not ordering sea scallops.
