I stopped for lunch while passing through town. The restaurant appeared larger inside than it did from the outside. There was only one cook and one waiter, but that was all that was needed for me and the two regulars at another table. The service and food were good, and the atmosphere was decent. The regulars were entertaining, reminiscing about the good old days. One of them recalled when he used to make $2.75 an hour, which was enough for a new car, women, and booze. It seems he doesn't have any of those things anymore.
Charming breakfast restaurant with delicious coffee and a wide variety of options. Affordable prices, generous portions, and fantastic service. Don't miss out on trying the country gravy!
The breakfast at this restaurant was excellent, and the service was very friendly. We tried the pancakes, which were as big as the plate and delicious. The side of sausage was also very tasty. I ordered the ham and cheese dish and was impressed by the generous portion of ham, which was flavorful and not watered-down like some other places. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
I had a great experience at this charming breakfast spot! When we arrived around noon, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout and abundance of tables and chairs. We enjoyed both breakfast and sandwich options at our table. The Vegetable Skillet over hash browns, topped with gravy, was a satisfying meal. The fresh vegetables were cheesy and delicious, although the canned mushrooms were the only downside. The Blueberry Pancakes were light and fluffy, more akin to a crepe than a traditional pancake, with delicious blueberries evenly distributed. The Pork Tenderloin was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior, and the fries were light, crispy, and tasty. Overall, I would definitely consider making this place a regular dining spot.
