There’s plenty of seating available. **Menu:** The menu includes typical offerings like fries, burgers, and other fried goodies, all the things you would expect from this kind of place. I particularly enjoy their fries. You order at the counter and then wait for your number to be called, with orders filled in the sequence they're made. **Staff:** The staff are friendly and manage the hustle and bustle of the crowd with a pleasant demeanor. I admire their ability to stay cheerful amidst the chaos! I'll definitely stop here again, but I still hope to catch a glimpse of the Blueberry Hound!
That said, the food here is surprisingly decent. The bacon cheeseburger had plenty of toppings (I do love a pickle on my burger!), my kid enjoyed his BLT, and the fries were actually quite tasty. The hot dog was cooked well, although my daughter prefers them a bit spicy, and luckily that worked out for her. Prices are on the high side, but that’s the situation you’re in here. I would recommend skipping the combo meals and just ordering large fries to share, as the combos are almost double the price for a small serving of fries and a can of soda. If soda is a must-have for you, it might be worth it, but for those of us who stick to water (which we brought from the car), we saved quite a bit by just ordering individual sandwiches and one large order of fries. We chose to sit outside at one of the many picnic tables, which was nice because it allowed us to let the dog out too. The takeaway? Stop here only if you have to, but you can expect a meal that’s fair to average, which honestly could be a lot worse. Be sure to try the fries. Safe travels, fellow road warriors! Also, do yourself a favor and check out the gift shop. It’s a bit pricey, but much nicer than I expected, with plenty of art, clothing, and quirky Canadian souvenirs.
This restaurant has a convenient location just off the highway and offers pleasant outdoor seating. However, the food is underwhelming and the prices are too high for what you get.
Over priced... ordered a club house with fries and a water was 19 something portion for the Poutine was very small and over all wasn't good tasting you can tell the fries were frozen... Won't go back.
Really good burgers and fries. Outdoor seating out front. Nice spot to stop at when heading north on highway 69 between Parry Sound and Sudbury. Theres a couple other business on either side and a French River Information Centre
