So excited that my hometown BBQ royalty restaurant is also here in the central valley! I had no idea Dog House is the valley's equivalent of Firestone Main Street Grill back on the coast.This location here in Fresno is pretty good, but not as good as the OG Firestone in San Luis Obispo. The tri-tip sandwiches here are a bit overcooked compared to the typical ones at the coastal locations (meat well-done instead of medium and bread a bit burnt instead of a light golden color).I will say though that this location's fries are better than the coastal ones lately. The staff here in Fresno are also very kind and welcoming whereas the SLO management/staffing these days aren't as personable with customers as they used to be back in the day.The Fresno restaurant itself is much smaller than the other locations, but the energy here is good and they still have a small outdoor dining patio as well. The food comes out super fast and fresh which is always great.Can't wait to come back now that I know I've got this treasure right in my new backyard!

Just what we needed after a long weekend in Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. You can either stand in line and wait for your order in the self-service area or sit in the entire service area where you take your order. The service was super fast, our cups were constantly refilled, and everything we demanded we were in a minute or less. The food was delicious, we took all the rack of ribs, and two tri-tip sandwiches with a basket of mixed onion rings and frits for 4 people and were filled! All in all paid less than 80$ total it included for a delicious and inexpensive meal!

No boring moment in dog house grill. good time, tasty eating, refreshing drinks. cooler place to hang up, watch and eat. indoor and terrace kitchen. plan accordingly because dog house has a large customer support.
