Sushi Day - Fresno

This is our favorite sushi spot. The staff always goes above and beyond and never disappoint. Be sure to try the Nemo roll, it's my personal favorite!

The experience was disappointing. We arrived right when the restaurant opened and were the first customers. We placed a takeout order, paid and waited for our food. As more people arrived, the restaurant filled up and we were eventually asked to give up our seats for another party. We waited for about 25-30 minutes for our food while others around us were being served. When our food finally arrived, we requested extra sauce to-go but were charged for it. The service felt stingy and the food was mediocre. The tempura roll I ordered was plain and not worth the $60 we spent for two people. I left the restaurant still feeling hungry. Despite high ratings, I would not recommend this place. Bluefin Sushi is a better option.

I returned for the Whe-Dup-Bop dish. The sushi rolls are delicious and reasonably priced. This is one of the two Japanese restaurants in the Fresno Visalia area that I frequent. I have high standards for Japanese cuisine and this place meets them.

Service was out of this world, and the food matched. Fantastic sushi place.

Sushi was really good, but the service and overall atmosphere is what really made it for us.
