To avoid any further issues, I paid in cash, but later checked my bank account and confirmed that the card transaction had gone through. The employee's boss rudely refunded my cash, claiming it wouldn't clear, and insinuated that I was trying to get my order for free. I had no intention of stealing such a small amount. It turns out that the transaction did clear. I appreciated the friendliness of the new employee, but found her boss, a middle-aged man, to be lacking in people skills and unpleasant to deal with.
Went for a special treat after dinner to celebrate my kid's birthday. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered blizzards and malts, and they were all made perfectly. I realized that I'm not a big fan of blizzards, but the one I had was made well with plenty of chunks.
The Fridley DQ is just so slow. My orders are always messed up and they even argued with us over a wrong blizzard order. I asked for ala carte but ended up paying for meals. The prices are super expensive for fast food and everything is overly fried. It's a disappointment.
It was meh. Chicken strip basket, didn't get any gravy, my s'mores shake was a vanilla shake with some chunks of something in it. Wasn't very smoresy. From start to finish 10 minutes in the drive through. Food was hot though and the young man at thedrive thru window was friendly.
Normally the product is great, and I know everything everywhere is charging more. That being said, we were there on Friday, my husband got the peanut buster parfait, and I tried the new cherry chocolate blizzard size small ,Just under $12?! The parfaitwas a LOT smaller than I remember it used to be, and the blizzard literally had ONE maraschino cherry in it, so not worth it. Wewent through the drive through, because there wasn't a line, like there usually is, so that was a plus.
