Feedback gevenThis evaluation refers to the gourmet restaurant and the great tasting menu and what to say? here is cooked at a high level. we have been too hospitable in the last few years at various locations in the herzog ludwig and were never disappointed. creative combinations, very well implemented, excellent quality of the ingredients: chefkoch mario prencipe cooks near the star level, but at a significantly lower price. Of course: who is happy with sponge rahmschnitzel, for whom the gourmet restaurant is nothing. “Three of fjordlachs with a gurkenemulsion, celery puree and caviar” are not maul pockets. ambiente and service are friendly, even if you notice that you are not in a high-end hotel in the big city, but in a farm where a chef can work in a star restaurant. Wine pairing is very convincing, the mood uncomplicated and warm. I don't know a restaurant in a circle where you get such menus to such trips. great recommended!
The expectations were very high, as the menu reads well in the internet. the frame was also very beautiful. but then some mistakes that lead to us not coming back. the brot is banal baguette, the butter has to be ordered extra. of the 5 appetizers are already sold out. the white wine is served roomy and foamed. the foods are good, but do not have a high level. the prices are completely in order.
We decided to enjoy sylvester in the herzog ludwig on 31.12.2014.It was from the beginning a real pale man's mouse, but every court visually and enjoyably a highlight. the gruss (amuse Gueule) from the house has tuned us (Bombastian) to the further menu.Each teller was of the finest,you can't describe it at all,we felt around well and also warmly welcomed by the service. many love thanks for the unforgettable evening,which we want to enjoy again.........Weine gradios and affordable.Glg jenny and robert aus friedberg
An idea, let's go to the duke Ludwig,It was still early, only 18 o'clock we were the only guests, were warmly welcomed and have been offered for 4 people and a small child 2 years a very nice table, of course with immediately herbeigeholt kinder chair. a first round view showed us that some tables were reserved. the service was very careful and open to special requests, even after the local stuff had been filled. our daughter wanted only pommes, but still received the greeting from the kitchen she spooned to our surprise with appetit. the food is more expensive than in the Bavarian national place, where I can order a pork for 7,90, but the raviolo with calf for 14,90 €, the swirl roast for 17,90 € and my calf back for 22,80 € were worth their money. simply delicious! the 3 desserts for each 8,90 € a dense. to the conclusion again a greeting from the house, to order espresso a bowl with the finest pralins. the drinks had moderate prices, the wee was good, could have been a bit cooler, but this was immediately reached by a cooler with ice cubes.For us, we are sure to visit our sohn again, this is a starting station for us.
The new highly praised hosting in the herzog ludwig in friedberg does not hold what she promises. on Saturday evening we were accommodated in the front room on a cat-seat table, as allegedly everything was reserved. the main room was loosely filled with about 20 guests, in the front room there was no one more guest this evening. in the 6 potential guests were rejected. obviously the kitchen creates a maximum of 20 guests so in a way. im aperitiw (hugo) found little dull syrup and just a trace prosecco, so just fad in taste. we actually wanted to order a menu with wine order, but this was not offered. the wee were all moderate and simply too expensive. even the dessert wine could not convince. the greeting from the kitchen was the only dish that was served at the same time. but the ice was again present at the appetizer. as an appetizer I cost three kinds of stuffed, the warm leber was fad, the terrine tasty, the praline totally boring. the consomee with lobster tails met the claim to a certain extent, but it was too salty and too cold, jakobsms with baby mais from the dose was also quite anxious but not round in the taste. the loop de mer was practically unhurried, the nice tasty. Fortunately, we decided to have a dessert that was served after complaint and 50 minutes waiting time. after the question "we were finally dependent on the high-powered services. both had no idea of the composition of the feeds, they constantly ran with a teller in the hand back and forth, ratted with the gäsern udn schirr and led on the tresen loudly audible private talks, simply unprofesisonal for a locally with raised claims. for this food and 2 glasses wein we then paid 102.-€, easy for the performance too expensive. the duke ludwig still has every amount of potential up. above all he needs trained customer-friendly staff
