We have eaten in some very special and prestigious restaurants around the world, but that was absolutely one of the most beautiful, unforgettable at all. We were recommended by other foods we know well, so we asked for a reservation. The restaurant was not... planned for the season to be open, but when it was my husband's birthday, they started graciously early. From the moment we entered the hotel until we literally appeared on a cloud several hours later, we were treated with class and style and grace to one of the most creative, wonderful meals we had ever had. Chef Martin Göschel and his crew prepared a nice dish after the other and each one was presented in such a whimsical, elegant style that even The French laundry looks pretty simple compared. Exquisite!
