Otelli's Kitchen - Fuengirola

Great bar and restaurant situated in a picturesque plaza. Great food and a wide selection of drinks all at very good prices. We travel through from arroyo de la miel to visit this place. The owners are fantastic. Speaking many languages between them. They are always welcoming and make you feel important. Try it and you'll be back!

Fuengirola has some hidden gems when it comes to restaurants, and if you want to step away for a little while from the bustling seafront, to somewhere a little more tranquil in a traditional Spanish plaza, then I thoroughly recommend the tucked away restaurant in Pueblo Lopez Plaza San Juan known as Otelli's Kitchen. A quaint location it may be, but when it comes to the quality of its food and friendly service, (provided by the chef, Mike, who is Dutch, and his English wife, Fiona), all delivered to an excellent standard. I visited with a good friend of mine and we enjoyed starters, including salad with guacamole and Mozzarella cheese, we also sampled some subtly spiced Dutch sausages known as frikandellen, and Bitterballen which are a Dutch meat-based snack. Next was the main course and this was one of the finest Chateaubriand steaks I have enjoyed, most exquisite and melted in the mouth, this was accompanied with delicately cooked vegetables, plus an excellent house red wine. Otelli's offers an extensive sweet menu as well, something I will be returning to, to do justice on my next visit, which I am pleased to say will not be too far away. There are plenty of other delightful dishes on the menu, so best to see for yourself, and like me, you will no doubt want to go there again.

Beautiful setting for this fantastic restaurant. Food excellent and hosts Mike and Fiona are a lovely couple who go out of their way to help with any questions you may have about the menu or the area in general.

Mooie en romantische locatie, Mike kookt met passie en respect voor zijn nieuwe en mooie producten. Fiona laat de gasten zich welkom voelen. Degene die echt goed wil eten is een verkrachter en je komt terug zoals wij.

¡Fiona y Mike son unos anfitriones fantásticos! ¡Nada es un problema para ellos! La comida siempre es de un nivel muy alto... deliciosa, fresca y con un valor sorprendente. El entorno no podría ser mejor, muy céntrico en la ciudad pero aún así en una plaza tranquila y pintoresca de un pueblo español tradicional. ¡No puedo esperar para volver! ¡Se recomienda reservar con anticipación para las noches!
