Romantically located in the forest of Oettinger Forste is the idyllic village adventure brewery Hochberger. Steaming brewing boilers, cozy brandy, brewery tours and beer seminars experience near the skin. First-class Franconian dishes, hearty bread times, natural beers and homemade beer liquors make this a real experience. Oh, yeah, the bread is still fresh in your own oven. The brewery has been 16 years. Centuries in family possession and was constantly lovingly preserved and restored. A total of 7 rooms with different ambience and different occasions are available. The Jägerstube for 8 people is the smallest and the club room for 40 people is the largest. Beautiful nostalgic and rustic is the oven room with its tiled stove for 20 people and the well room with a 50 m deep well for 30 people. To complete a beer seminar or a brewery tour, you can complete a 5 liter round. Feed the freshly tapped forest cooler. For the beautiful months of the year there is also a beautiful beer garden for about 200 people. Cars and bus parking are available directly in front of the house. Open from 11:00. However, you should definitely register as a group or for a brewery tour. Because as I have noticed, there are many other guests in the Gasthausbrauerei von Fürnheim.

The Forstquell brewery in Fürnheim was located in a beautiful environment south of Hesselberg. The brewery restaurant was restored with love. It's actually a big business. However, as one does not sit in a large hall, but has the choice between several guest rooms of different sizes and furnishings, we feel a bit like in the good old time . But furnishings aren't everything. On the map are Franconian dishes and also beef from the brewery (wonderful! and unfiltered, natural beer from the in-house brewery. The Braukessel is in the middle of the building! Everything tastes wonderful and is served by friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is always well visited.

We were very satisfied with service, quality, price and performance. We were disappointed on Nikolaustag. For our family celebration the beautiful fountain room was reserved for lunch and coffee. The champagne reception ordered was not prepared, the main course was served lukewarm. Mixed roast and Wiener Schnitzel served on a plate. The operation was unfriendly and slow. That was our last visit.

Great experience gastronomy, away from traffic and hectic; highly recommended.
