Corner House - Fujikawaguchiko

Very nice joint! excellent food service, very cheap trips. will certainly come back when in fuji. lady staff was polite, attentively efficient. around 18 o'clock, ordered the Russian bark in pot, with rice. I didn't have to wait long until eating is served hot pierced. came with free mini-seal coffee. the bark was excellently cooked with good taste, the accompanying ingredients (Kabbage/Mushroom/etc) were very fresh delicious! the other dishes served, like steak garnelen, also looked good.

Amazing tasty steak! I had the premium-filled steak [especially on the menu, however! medium rareness] and my partner had the bark cheek and a bit. the meat was cooked to perfection. melt in the mouth and absolutely skrumbling. we also had the wobble soup and it was soou tasteful and delicious we almost ordered more! the cheese-plate starter was average (only a kind of cheese, a few types of crackers and a little salami, but still tasted good and worked as a nice start to the meal. I wish there were two or three different types of cheese. yes, there is plastic on the tables that do not look the best. but who cares when this is delicious!? the personal was ok, and there is an English menu (some questionable translations, but good enough to order properly). the photo of empty (and practically cleaned! plates should speak for themselves. we were so hungry and enjoy it so much that we did not make any photos!

Was a lovely cozy dinner in Kawaguchiko. Food was delicious, steaks were cooked perfectly! Service was perfect too. Thank you and look forward to visiting again when I return.

The single old lady helming the front of the shop was very efficient and friendly. Their English menu was also very well labeled. The size of the portion of their food was pretty big so it was worth the price, although it is definitely more towards the higher end of the scale e.g a main can be expected at between 2100~3700 yen or so. My family was fed full and happy and the cosy log house atmosphere was very welcoming break from the cold weather at the Lake Kawaguchi area
