Ku - Fujikawaguchiko

Ku is a café located by the lake with a stunning view. Stop by, grab a seat on their terrace, unwind with a cup of their delicious coffee, and soak in the breathtaking scenery!

No vegan options. if they need breakfast, however, they can open toast and jam nowhere else at 9 o'clock! the coffee is good.

The staff at Ku Lake Side Café was very friendly and the view from the two floors above the entrance was stunning, with a view of the lake and mountains in the background. However, the food and drinks were disappointing. The espresso was not authentic, possibly just from a Moka pot. The cake seemed to be store-bought and simply warmed up in the microwave. The prices were excessively high. Moreover, the menu lacked vegan and vegetarian options, and when a friend ordered fish pasta, she became ill and had stomach issues for the rest of the day. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. It is unfortunate that Ku does not utilize its fantastic location for a better kitchen.

I had a wonderful experience at Ku Cafe during my morning visit. The stunning views of the lake and delicious drinks made my time there truly special. I tried a creamy soy milk matcha latte and the most amazing peach smoothie made with fresh, local peaches. The accompanying Lotus cookies were a tasty vegan treat. Unfortunately, I found that none of the food options were vegan, so I had to grab snacks from a convenience store before leaving. Additionally, be mindful that black tea comes with milk by default, so remember to specify no milk or opt for soy milk when ordering. Overall, a great cafe with beautiful views and exceptional drinks.

KU is a cafe on the lake with an amazing view. Pop up so the third floor and relax with your coffee and enjoy the scenery!
