Dolce Gelato - Funchal

Visited with family for waffles and ice cream. Waffles were super delicious and lots of options. Sangria was very nice as well.

Found this place when looking for lunch near our hotel. Bit dubious at first just looks like ice cream place but glad we went in. We had 2 lunches during the week both times just sandwiches and beers but we thought they were delicious and good value. My husband particularly liked the steak sandwich. Staff very pleasant. Lots of locals using for coffee. We couldn't find anything not to like.

All kinds of ice creams and other delicacies on the main road from S. Martinho into the centre of town Well worth a visit and tasting.

Place looks cool but nothing special. No many options on flavours or any different from the usual. The staff there was very nice and friendly but I would prefer another place for my next ice cream.

Nice clean little cafe/ice cream parlour next to Granny's place restaurant. Nothing special with average prices, €3 for a caneca and €4.50 for a gin and tonic. Absolutely fine but no great reason to rush back.
