Galaxia Skyfood - Funchal

Our dinner at Galáxia Skyfood was an amazing experience. If you enjoy fine dining and want something unique, you shouldn't skip this restaurant. From the moment you arrive, take the elevator to the top floor to be greeted by the friendly staff guiding you to your table with a gorgeous view, you know you're off to a good start. We opted for the 6-course menu with paired wines and it was simply perfect. Every dish is beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, using premium ingredients without overdoing it. Compliments to the kitchen staff and especially the head chef.

The overall experience is hard to beat. The menu choice is very interesting, but you can also create your own menu. Everything I was allowed to enjoy there in my seven-course menu, called Madeira Experience , was an extraordinary experience on the tongue. Only the espresso was bitter and urgently needs improvement.
