Miradouro Pico Dos Barcelos - Funchal

It is a great place to admire the view of the city and bay. we went there to enjoy the sunset, it was amazing. we have decided to walk to foot as it was about 4 5 km to foot from our hotel, if they also decide to walk to foot, there are ready for some climbing; as I noticed, many people came with the car or bus. Up there is a small caffe that you can order drinks snacks there and enjoy the view.

More amazing place, we can see funchal, we can see the mountains, we can see the sea, only amazing place to visit. there is also a bar and a band in pico dos barcelos, both a seat or a visit worth. parking is not enough tho, they sometimes have to park outside.

Best view in funchal. easy to reach with the local bus (nr. 9, 13, or 48). Café before place with good affordable trips to have coffee or wine while admire spectacular views. recommend them at any time.

Great viewpoint for 360° views of Funchal. Well kept gardens and very clean toilet facilities. Highly recommend this place.
