Santiago Beach - Funchal

Great little spot, unpretentious and reasonably priced. We love this little cafe at any time of day or night. The food is good and the atmosphere’s friendly and fun. Don’t come expecting 5 star facilities and you’ll have a great time.

Watch out, fellow tourists! We have just been right royally ripped off here. I had a G&T, my husband had three beers, a lemonade, a burger and a chicken sandwich, and the owner charged 55€! My husband sent me to settle up, the owner read out exactly what we’d had and was adding it up on a calculator and said 54€ 50 as cool as a cucumber. Stupidly, I handed over the cash without thinking, but when I told my husband and he reckoned it all up on the menu on the table, it should have been around 30€ less We couldn’t really challenge it as I’d paid cash. What a shame, as the spot is fabulous for wave-watching and obviously very popular with locals. We’ll not be going again.

10 out of 10. Localed on the lower road by the Fort. Great spot by the sea at the entrace to the marina. Beer wine snacks. Good service Great prices. Mainly locals frequent.

Pessoal um pouco escondido, mas super simpático, boa localização e boa relação qualidade/preço. Eu realmente aprecio este lugar.
