Excellent tasting card with 7 oriented (tuna, espada, otopus, marinated sardine, leber, calf, sweet potato). Note that this can handle more than 1 person easily. the staff is friendly and helpful.

I was visited as many different places on madeira as possible but came back to this. Why? an excellent service, delicious eating (watch the garlic bread) and wonderful fado.

A wonderful evening spent with delicious food and lovely service. I ordered the Sirloin Steak, and my mother ordered the Nuns Chicken with chestnuts. Both did not disappoint! A special shout out to Jorge, who was a delight and far exceeded our expectations as a waiter. He was incredibly hospitable and the perfect addition to the evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone on the Island looking for something a little extra special in a sea of so many choices.

After spending 7 days on the island, this had the best food and sangria by far!

We had the tasting menu. It was fantastic. Very typical Maderian food. And Maderia wine. Great staff. A must if you are in the old town.
