Beautiful restaurant, large selection of local foods (antipasti, primi, secondi) and pizza. pepperoncini house made. the wine was great ( recommended by the service). beautiful view of a fantastic bay. excellent service! everything you need for a beautiful evening celebrations.

We were driven from Britain, this village was the first stop for a week to explore puglia. we were early in the holiday season so that not many places were open. to the happiness we visited la vela! what a reception, service, eating and the wine. were excellent. as much as we have eaten there 3 times, recommended in itself. the days of the fish selection were picked out for us to choose, I the thun fish, slightly grilled was perfection. the opening course was a wonderful selection of pieces and pieces completely delicious and I had only space for desert at one night, tiramasu! very delicious.

La Vela is one of the few places open all year long on this magical spot...of the Apulian coast. A family-owned simple but welcoming place, at La Vela you will always find the freshest fish and a great variety of typical Italian cuisine always carefully crafted. You can feel how much love and effort Janette puts in designing her tasty and always fresh creations. Great for lunch on the way, a quick coffee with gelato an aperitivo at sunset as for a more sophisticated candlelight dinner with your family, friends and loved ones. The view is amazing, right overlooking the sea. 5 stars
