Le Ble Noir - Gaillan-en-Médoc

Lunch. A lot of choice in the menu. One in our party had the “menu du jour” and was satisfied. Another special burger that was delicious. I had the buckwheat pancake that was fine... but I will not have it again...as it was "heavy" pancakes without air holes, as allegedly have. Loved the room and ambience. We were very well served by a young waitress. will definitely go back.

After visiting Soulac sur Mer on the Atlantic Ocean, I and my friends were looking for a place to eat, but it was not easy on Sunday when most restaurants are closed. Luckily we found this place, big cafeteria/restaurant, open all week. The first court came pretty fast, but... second court took app. 45 minutes to get there. Too long and this restaurant should have one more in the kitchen and another waiter. However, my dishes, Italian salad and jam de canard were quite delicious.

We went here while we went to Lesparre in our two weeks holiday. This was our second visit as we were in a previous holiday about 7 years ago. Our memories were correct as last time we remembered a good meal. We were not disappointed as the meal was good and filled. In our family of six we had some food from the menu, some from the a la carte and one from the children's menu. I had bambas in cream and whisky sauce that were good, but I couldn't taste the whisky. My main was a galleette with three cheeses and that was excellent. Then I had chocolate mousse that was good and creamy. In our group we also had the Bavette Steak with pepper and beef sauces, Moules Mariniere and Confit von Duck. Our older guys also enjoyed a fantastic sweet crepe with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Main and sweet course better than appetizers, but a good meal with good service and cheap wine.

Trouver un resto ouvert un 15 août c'est difficile, mais le blé noir répond toujours présent à l'image de son patron qui y travaille non stop depuis 6 ans. Quand je vois les critiques sur les temps, avec l'affluence on peut comprendre, un peu de patience et de civilité, de compréhension SVP. Quand aux minables comme dauphin 33340 et Katia T qui cassent pour casser, restez chez vous ça fera du bien à toute l'humanité, surtout pour ceux qui y ont travaillé ou du moins qui ont fait acte de présence continuez à profiter du RSA c'est dans l'air du temps. De passage dans la région nous avons trouvé ce restaurant. Pas mal de monde ce soir là ce qui à du coup considérablement rallongé le temps d'attente. Nous avons pris 2 menus enfants et 2 galettes 3 fromages. La cuisine est bonne mais très simple. Serveur très agréable contrairement à la patronne (je suppose) qui semblait débordée et qui en a oublié d'être agréable. Le prix est très correct (55 euros pour 4 avec apéritif et dessert). Le cadre de la salle est superbe (pierres apparentes). Chien accepté en salle.
