Eat The 80 - Gainesville

There are not enough kind words I can speak about Eat the 80 and specifically their customer specialist Shaina. I was a customer for a few months. Their food was delicious and nutritious, perfect portions for a police academy recruit. On November I had to put my deliveries on hold because an unfortunate injury caused me to have to withdraw from the police academy. Fast forward to March 13th, probably my darkest day in recent history. I was just released from the police department, I was in extreme pain from my injury, and I was going to have back surgery the next day. I was facing a long road to recovery. I had called Eat the 80 to let them know that I probably won’t resume ordering from them probably ever again. I hate to sound overly dramatic but I was overwhelmed and overcome with emotion. Shaina was the brightest light. She showed me empathy and kindness. She offered to give me some free meals just to help me through the first days after surgery. I was speechless and overcome with joy. I can’t believe it. They don’t have to do that. It was unbelievably generous of Eat the 80. She stressed that they don’t have to do it – they WANT to do it. The kindness they have shown has really inspired me gather myself, and rebuild. I had back surgery on the 14th. I was walking the very same day. Today is the 22nd and my surgeon said that I am progressing really well. My prognosis is for a complete and full recovery. I am here to say that I am searching hard for a new job and to return to Eat the 80 as a regular customer. I am here to declare that their food nourishes your body, but their actions of kindness revitalize your soul. I am forever grateful for your generosity.

Eat the 80 donates several meals every month to the K9s For Warriors-Gold Family Campus for our Warriors in training. Our Warriors always rave about how delicious and fulfilling these meals are. My family and I will start ordering meals now. They are convenient for families with a busy schedule, they're super healthy, and best of all they are mouth watering delicious. Also can't beat the fact that it's family owned and ran by a powerhouse couple. I am so grateful for this amazing company!

The meals at Eat The 80 are absolutely nutritious and taste amazing. They are the perfect solution for those desiring a fresh, healthy, satisfying meal yet are in a particular season, too booked for shopping and preparation, though still wanting to eat well. A life saver for active households, athletes, business owners and those just wanting extra help on the busy days!
