Purple Porpoise - Gainesville

I would highly recommend trying the calamari and the shrimp rockefeller at this restaurant. They were both delicious and full of flavor. The garnelen sampi, which was served with a lovely white wine sauce, was also a standout dish that I thoroughly enjoyed.

The crab legs lacked flavor and were quite bland. However, our server Kaitlin provided excellent service and tried to rectify the situation. There were some positive aspects about the restaurant as well.

Before I give my rating, I just want to say that I was a big fan of the Tampa location and was sad when they closed a few months ago. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by this new location.
