Relish Downtown - Gainesville

We received friendly service as soon as we walked in, which was a refreshing change from some burger joints where staff can be inattentive. The prices are mostly reasonable for a college town, although the combo supplement for drink upgrades seems a bit steep. However, the food is absolutely delicious. I tried the double tasty burger with regular fries, and my friend had the salmon burger with sweet potato fries. The double tasty burger was flavorful and grilled to perfection, and I appreciated that we could choose our own toppings and flavors, similar to deli-style sandwiches. I preferred the regular fries to the sweet potato ones. They also offer both American and Swiss cheese options, as well as a gluten-free bread choice. Overall, a great dining experience!

I absolutely loved the cheeseburger with speck, complete with all the toppings, as always! I’m so happy to see this little favorite back in the city!

I recently visited Gainesville for a holiday, and while exploring the city, I asked some locals where I could find a great burger for lunch. They recommended I try Relish. The food was fantastic (I had the double tasty burger), and the service was exceptional. If you're in the area, I definitely suggest giving it a try!
