Barking Mad Cafe - Gaithersburg

This place is located in a newer community with newer apartments near Exit 11 on Highway 270.

I have been looking forward to coming here for quite some time The moment I found them on yelp - I was so excited.

Barking Mad manages to be both a great restaurant and a great coffee shop.

Ate here w our kids and had a nice meal. Kids had a buffet designed for them which worked out great and. Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier.

Ramon's is an awesome waiter with 42 years of experience on the La Costa property!
