Lil Cakes Creamery - Gaithersburg

I had just had cupcakes from Touché the week before. I had high hopes for Lil Cakes. Unfortunately, their prices were high and didn’t hold a candle to Touché. I was disappointed. They were no where as fresh and they were low on all flavors. If you need cupcakes in a pinch and don’t mind paying for mediocre sweets, try them. I will go back to Touché each and every time. They are the best in the Washington, DC area.

I bought gluten-free cupcakes and my friends said they were the best they’d ever had! The regular cupcakes were delicious too, especially the caramel.

If I could give you a 0 I would, this is the second cake I buy from here, the first time the cake had a hair in it, it took the Mgr to contact me after numerous of calls and emails, this time I decided to give this place another chance after a year passed, again the cake was bland, it wasn’t the flavor I asked for, ive emailed them 3 times, called the store about 4 times since Saturday and nothing! And I don’t have money to be giving away just like that, especially when this cake was supposed to be super special for my daughters 30th birthday! Never ever again

These cupcakes were amazing! We always try and scope out artisan foods when we were traveling. This was an absolute delight! Amazing gourmet cupcakes!

We picked up a variety of cupcake flavors and all of them were moist and delicious. The hostess style cupcake was particularly tasty and I look forward to getting more.
