Luna Italia - Gaithersburg

I returned to the restaurant and once again enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The service was not the quickest, but it was reminiscent of Italy and not overly rushed. The house Chianti was good and the pasta was decent.

I love dining at this restaurant when I want to indulge in a special lunch or dinner. The food tastes as if it were made by an Italian mother who shops at the local market every morning and cooks everything from scratch. It is the freshest, purest Italian food I have ever had. This is my daughter's favorite restaurant. While there are more affordable options, you won't find this quality of food at a lower price. Bravo. KK

I came to this restaurant in search of a local Italian food and was a bit disappointed with the limited vegetarian options. However, I ended up ordering the pasta with spicy sauce, which turned out to be perfect. The sauce had just the right consistency and was packed with bold flavors. The dish also came with delicious bread that was great for dipping. Overall, I had a great dining experience.

Food was excellent, don't know about other low rated reviews. Silverware and plates are high quality. Had cream of tomato, and brushetta was awesome. Ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and baked ziti plate. Also a small house salad with chicken. The portions are a bit small, but it's worth it if want Italian that's not a chain restaurant.
