My Cup Runneth Over Southern Cuisine Llc

After being here for years, I have yet to find good soul food or desserts. I was hopeful but sadly mistaken. The food has zero flavor but the drinks will surely give you heart condition, diabetes and high blood pressure. Mango lemonade not as bad. Strawberry Lemonade… It’s literally swimming in sugar. I would have preferred church punch over that. I ordered 2 veggie plates for $18. It would have been cheaper to just get individual sides. The portions of veggies plates aren’t even half of size of individual sides or sides with the meals even as it cost more. The potato salad doesn’t taste like “soul food” potato salad and made with mustard with raw onions in it. People that make soul food potato salad, DO NOT ADD ONIONS. It taste worse that store bought potato salad. Green beans taste like straight from a can and collards had a weird feel to them. Yams were good but too much sugar. So, clearly used bunch of white sugar versus brown sugar or honey. Lastly, the mac cheese wasn’t the worse but not good either. At 8 pm, I had to bring everything home and recook it. Totally a wasted trip when I could have just gone to store cooked at home. The sweet potato pie was burned and taste really weird(kinda like burnt pumpkin pie). Def would have been cheaper than the $85 spent.I will say they could work more on greeting customers as well.

I found My cup runneth over Southern Cuisine on doordash. I am very happy I ordered. the whiting sandwich, 1/2 BBQ ribs, and BBQ chicken wings (we also purchase sides, mac cheese, string beans, yams, French fries and greens) was a big hit with my family. My 81yr old aunt can't stop talking about them lol. I am looking to try some of the other items on the menu soon.

Just driving by and told my wife “turn around” had the ox tail and like 5 sides and the fried cat fish.The best food that I have had in this area yet. No complaints. Truely blessed and highly flavored! Coming back often and

The Wings are amazing and flavorful, and the sides are all good. My favorite was the Mac n Cheese. Great Spot for Local soul

Went in today to get the very good strawberry banana pudding I love , 01/28/2025. The new girl said they don't have strawberry banana pudding , just strawberry or just banana , she said this as holding up the strawberry bannana pudding.... She was argumentive , rude and unprofessional , while trying to come off as shy .... The food is good , the service lacked... Also they upped the price on the bannana pudding which is good but not worth 9 dollars .... No need for the owner to respond and be nasty to my review like she does ... this is my opinion your free not to like it but arguing with customers on line about their review just makes you look bad ....
