Why Not? - Galashiels

Today, after geocaching in Galashiels with my daughter, we stopped for coffee, sandwiches, and cake. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially the quirky restrooms! The cake was delicious, the coffee was fantastic, and my sandwich on beautiful brown bread was just what I needed. The café is tucked away in the back of a business and isn't immediately visible from the street. I have a feeling this place will be bustling with locals over the weekend!

Oh my goodness, where do I start!? I have visitors from America for the day, and after visiting this place a few times before, I decided it would be the perfect spot! It was an excellent choice! They loved the atmosphere and enjoyed examining all the locally produced items on display. The staff were very courteous, and let’s be honest, it’s hard to tell if they are genuinely happy about their service, but everything was great! The soup was hot, and the platter was filled with amazing antipasti. If you're looking for a great meal and some unique or high-quality options, why not give it a try? This place is definitely a must-visit!

We even had the opportunity to serve customers, who were very kind, even though we were all inexperienced. The students who made sandwiches said they were delicious and would definitely eat them again! We were also tasked with creating a new menu item, which was exciting. I can't wait to return and try the soup! A big thank you to Galashiels Academy for this wonderful experience!
