The Country Kitchen - GALENA

I loved the small town feel and friendly owners. I felt like I was extended family. The food was homemade and plan to go back for the bread pudding and homemade French Toast ice cream!

The food was incredible, especially the salmon on a bed of greens. I also had a salad with shrimp. Everything was fresh and healthy!

This is the best restaurant I've been to in a long time; everything was fantastic!

Absolutely the best crab cakes I've ever had, and the cream of crab soup is phenomenal. Scalloped potatoes for breakfast? Yes, please! I'm actually glad they only serve breakfast one day a week; otherwise, I know I would find myself there every day—it's just too delicious to pass up!

From the outside, it appears to be a small, unassuming place, but inside it's surprisingly nice, resembling a cozy country kitchen. The staff is incredibly friendly, and although the menu is simple (with all dinners featuring daily specials), the food is unexpectedly delightful. Just a heads up, the directions and photo on HotPot are inaccurate; the restaurant is located at 213 and the cross streets. However, please note that this restaurant is now closed.
