Not impressed with the food but customers seemed very friendly

I haven 't stopped here since it was the Smokehouse. We stopped to check it out. I sat next to a Silver Star Vietnam veteran. And a King of Barstool Mountain. Absolutely Veteran friendly atmosphere. For those who fought for it freedom has a flavor the protected will never know

You know those movies that show a person from out of town walk into a bar out in the country, where all the locals are inside having beer or two, the entire place goes quiet when that person walks in and stares at the outsider? Well this is the place.We were looking for a bar for a quick bite and a beer and found Sully 's. We pulled up in my RAV4 and parked among all the pickup trucks then walked in. Sure enough, the place went quiet. Then a split second later everyone said "HI! How y 'all doin? "Talk about southern hospitality! We went to the bar and had seat, saying hello to everyone as we made our way, and ordered a couple of beers. The bartender was friendly and the person next to us began talking with my wife like they were old friends. We then ordered some cheese burgers and breaded mushrooms as well as some onion rings. Let me tell you, all of that was the best greasy food you could ever ask for! Delicious.Being from Wisconsin, we know beer bars. This is one. No liquor, just beer. God we loved this place. As we are considering retiring to the area, going to Sully 's may have cemented where we would like to move to.Can 't wait to return and have another beer and some great bar food.

The 5 stars of this place r right! The food here is amazing. The staff r super-friendly and helpful and the clientele were delightful and chatty. The inside was clean with many pool tables. I ordered fried mushrooms, a cheeseburger, and fries. All were wonderful!The fried mushrooms were perfectly seasoned and delectable. The cheeseburger was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Normally I do not like a well-done burger, but this one was almost sinful. The fries were a little smaller than I would like, but perfectly spiced.My only complaint was the billous smokey atmosphere that perforated every inch of the establishment. I would like to go back... but
