Very nice mountain station, perfect place for start or ending of hiking trips to Sarek and Kungsleden. Rent a room or sleep in your tent. Great restaurant with menu based on local food. Small store with possibility to buy food and other necessities for the hiking trip. A bit expensive, but think that's ok for this service in the middle of nowhere.

Once again unbelievable that a remote mountain station (north of the Arctic Circle! offers vegans so well. Lunch was a choice between two soups, one was vegan and super delicious! Side bread also came with vegan butter. Everything was based on everything you can eat, which also goes for dinner. While expensive, the dinner menu is simply amazing. The buffet had salad, bread butter (again, with a vegan option, sides (potatoes, green and fish). To replace this, I got a separate dish with a roasted cauliflower and Chanterelles, with an amazing Mayo like sauce. The portion was generous in size and definitely up to what you can eat. Nevertheless, the food was incredibly good and in any case it is probably high price.

The restaurant has a stunningly beautiful environment with fantastic food and friendly staff. It feels like stepping out of a sauna into the fresh snow, surrounded by a magical tranquility.
