Kroger Bakery - Galveston

Whenever I visit this restaurant, I always encounter various issues. The aisles are cluttered with displays, but the shelves are empty. The quality of meat and products is subpar. Additionally, the establishment is the dirtiest Kroger I have ever been to (and I have been shopping at Kroger for 30 years in Houston). I will now choose to make the longer journey to HEB instead.

The two staff members at the bakery tonight were rude, unhelpful, and lazy. I will not be returning.

The sales ppl are friendly. I like the assortment and design's of cakes and cup-cakes the offer. Freshness is an issue. Go early in the morning or order ahead of time by phone. My favourite is their whipped cream icing. Very good. Some of the small cakes on display are frozen. So fair warning. I like their cookies too OMG.

Thanks Kroger. It has been a hard time for everyone including your employees but you would never know it. Even when they’re tired they are extremely helpful. Always.
