Riondo's - Galveston

Our server, Thomas, was exceptional and the food was outstanding. The ambiance was elegant and added to the overall enjoyment of the night. We even had the chance to meet Rico, the chef and co-owner, in the kitchen, where he shared insights about their Argentinian ribeye featured on the menu. It was impressive to see him rolling out fresh pasta firsthand. If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend it. Just be smart and make a reservation in advance, as it tends to get busy. We will definitely be returning. A big thank you to Don, Rico, and of course, Thomas!

Excellent service! The restaurant wasn't too crowded on Sunday. We really enjoyed the Caprese salad. I loved the tilefish with pasta, and the eggplant was also tasty.

I decided to take my daughter-in-law out for lunch to celebrate her 5th anniversary since my son couldn’t join us due to his training at Fort Hood. She's pregnant and really enjoyed her shrimp sampling, though she had to change seats because of the sun. The calamari was outstanding! I ordered the seafood and shrimp ravioli, and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was just right and complemented the ravioli perfectly. The ambiance of the restaurant was relaxing and beautiful, making it a great setting for my daughter-in-law, who was feeling down about my son’s absence during this special time. Nevertheless, she had a wonderful experience and loved the food. Even though it was a last-minute idea for a special lunch, the staff was attentive to our every need.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered the calf piccata and it was quite tasteless and very cheesy. Where was the Piccata part of the calf? Unfortunately any kind of sauce with missing and it was very dry and Blande. I sent it back and got the meatball appetizer that was also disappointing. My husband ordered the lasagna and thought it was good. He noticed on the reservation that it was my birthday, but it was not recognized at all. Yes, very disappointing to eat a birthday dinner.

Got reservations a few days in advance for my sister birthday. We got there and were seated right away, the manger and owner came by and were absolutely AWESOME, They suggested great appetizers and dinner options. Definitely will be going back. Thanks y?all for a great evening. P.S. Ask for the octopus, scallops they are by far some of the best!!!
