Stuttgarden Tavern - Galveston

The drinks were excellent and the pub food was tasty, with friendly service. There was a game room on the upper floor and a lovely outdoor seating area. I recommend trying the fish and chips, as well as the cheese sticks. Additionally, the restaurant is pet-friendly and provides a water bowl for pets at the front.

We first noticed Stuttgarden on our first day in Galveston and couldn't resist trying it out at noon. We were not disappointed. The fact that even the local police department eats there shows that they know where to find good food. As someone who has worked in the German auto industry for years, I have been to many German restaurants, both authentic and themed. While Stuttgarden may be more of a themed bar/restaurant rather than a traditional German restaurant, the quality of the food is excellent. The schnitzel was the best I've ever had! The service was friendly and efficient, with helpful and informative staff. I would recommend getting the German potato salad warm, as it is more authentic that way. I will definitely be stopping by Stuttgarden again when I'm in Galveston.

This German pub/restaurant is extremely cool! The pretzel and the pancakes were both delicious (especially the cheese served with the pretzel). They have a wide variety of German beers as well as a larger selection of local and craft beers on tap. The cocktails were also fantastic, with my wife particularly enjoying the key lime martini (it tasted like a key lime pie in a glass). We will definitely be returning with more friends to play shuffleboard.

We were at the beginning 3ish in february, so the upper level was closed, which was good. we sat on the bar and had **** beer and I had a long island for a finisher. bartender was a fun ball. she was very attentive. I ordered the spelt and smoked gouda fondu damn well! I'm going home to do this! then I had corklider and my man had a burger. you made it! delicious food and drink with a friendly bartender. made it a fantastic stop! thanks for a great late lunch!

The most amazing staff!!! Opened up the second floor for two families of 9!!!! Because they didn’t want us to wait!!!! Trish and husband were on vacation and helped out!!! Thank you Trish and husband and Michelle!!! You were amazing, so was the food and drinks!? Thank you again!!!?
