Woody's - Galveston

Excellent! We arrived right before closing and although the bartender was almost through with her layer and to close for the night.. She still served us and was pleasant about it.

Surprisingly Texan, very locally. If you smoke, you came to the right place. They carry local brewery beer from Galveston Island. Pool table, and fantastic Veiw of the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately, it was a very strange event that we had heavy fog when I wanted to make pictures from there, but good news was there 80° and there was a nice breeze.

Really cool dive spot! We played pool and had iced cold beer... Probably a biker spot but very welcoming!

Never go there again. Seemed very racist u0026 the bar tender called me a Yankee u0026 Spoke highly of the Confederate Flag. I understand the war, but that flag for most is a racist symbol and has been for a while now.
