Mcgettigan's - Galway

I visited this restaurant a few years ago and enjoyed the food, so I decided to return in October 2023. Unfortunately, the service was very poor despite it being busy. It seemed like no one wanted to serve us.

This bar restaurant is incredibly welcoming and beautifully decorated for book lovers. The dishes are hearty and the cooking is top-notch. In short, it's perfect and definitely worth a visit!

I am an American visitor in Ireland and I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was everything I wanted it to be. I tried the burger and bangers and mash and they were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Stopped in for a few pints to watch a rugby match. It wasn’t showing but we were assured that they would screen it for us shortly. Never happened, so after being avoided and ignored by the staff, we left. The atmosphere is good and the venue is comfortable and this result was disappointing.

Had a great time visiting here, had the best conversation with Jack and Oisin , great staff, and great pints!! Will definitely be back! Until next time, boys
