Restaurant-Auberge La Tène - Gampelen

We had a company Christmas event there and it was sooo cool. apero was beautiful with homemade fleees and flames. then we had foie grass. Finally, the meat was so good, tender and with many mushrooms in the sauce, served with a little sweet. and homemade gnocchi.

The view of the Lac de Neuchâtel is the top reason to visit the Auberge de la Tène, but the cuisine is quite excellent as well, although you do pay a premium for the luscious lake vistas. The perch filets, ubiquitous in the region, are...savory and slathered in a buttery sauce. The pork belly--a daily special--was absolutely scrumptious, but at 42 francs a bit steep for lunch fare...the röstis were far more modestly priced, and available in a dozen varieties as well. Be sure to feed the collective parking meter and place your ticket inside the windshield--parking enforcement seems quite efficient along the lakeshore!

This is a beautiful restaurant right at the eastern shore of the lake, with magnificent views of the lake and the mountains. the atmosphere is relaxed and suitable for children. there are many public (again fee) parking places close to. the prices are. in medium-high range. the restaurant obviously fills up quickly in the high season, so consider the reservation of a table, especially if you want to sit outside. there is a good selection of dressed to all kinds of taste. I had the traditional flaky cake and it was crispy and overall quite delicious. our waiter a. but was less than warm or personal, and therefore I deducted a star from this evaluation

Very nice restaurant in amazing location, before the sea of newshatel, very friendly staff, great speed of service, excellent eating fresh and good quality. great atmosphere!

We had a perfect stay! the auberge is a minute to see where they can rent pedalos, swim or grill and even have a shower after swimming. in the same building there is a small business with a wide range of products and beautiful owners. the rooms were clean and bedding were comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped. when they are tired of cooking, there is a very nice restaurant with magnificent views of the lake and delicious food. the staff was very nice, very friendly and very helpful with us and our children. I will definitely come back!
