Our experience at the pub at Glenhouse was fantastic. Despite being busy, we were seated on the porch with beautiful views. The waiter was efficient and friendly, and the food was fabulous. My husband enjoyed the prime rib, while I had the pickerel - both dishes were delicious. They were accommodating in allowing us to substitute the potatoes for more veggies or a Caesar salad. The service and atmosphere were great, with excellent bar staff and waiters. We plan to visit every week until they close for the season. Thank you for providing us with a lovely evening on the river with our kids.
Excellent meal. The other reviews are confusing about where the restaurant is; it is at Glen House, across from the Smuggler's Cove golf course. There is a high-end restaurant and a pub serving very nice pub fare. Good food, excellent service, spectacular view.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were impressed with the ambiance, the cuisine, and especially the amiable wait staff.
We ate here on the deck after a motor boat ride from Wellesley Island, NY. It was a beautiful summer evening in July and the view, the sunset and the evening were magical. Our waitress was helpful and funny so that started things off right. I had a stuffed chicken with red and yellow beets as the vegetable side. It was delicious! Our friends all enjoyed their meals as well. We had two bottles of wine for 6 people and split the bill in half--it was around $100.00 US which was very fair.
We dined at this restaurant a few times, and we were impressed with the excellent menu and top-notch food quality. Mike, the owner, is a wonderful host, and the staff and regular customers are all very friendly and welcoming. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to visit this place and experience the beautiful views from the dining area, especially at sunset. It is definitely worth seeing.
