Sat here on the terrace. Unfortunately, the four beers we ordered were 2(! years out of date. After a long wait (due to staff shortages, I think I was able to report it to the waiter who came with the response: You can still drink this. In the end I had to order another beer. Poor communication via the website. They are still searching for their concept . Currently these are not sharing dishes (which is what we went for and what was advertised) but a fixed menu. The menu itself was ok, but that 's about it. Nothing special and was more of a decent brasserie of dishes and quality than what you expect from a restaurant with 1 set menu. The service was inferior to the food, and it seemed like some of the staff were on their first day at the same time. Poor mutual communication and interaction. After ordering the drinks, we were also asked by another waitress if she could bring us something to drink. They simply forgot our dessert. The tables around us got their dessert and we were asked if we wanted coffee, and we were also given snacks. After coffee, when we asked if there was any dessert available, they still went and got it for us, but this also gave the impression of poor internal operations. 'Vreewijs ' interior and original, delicious menu. A discovery!

Above average, tasty and well executed food! Some attention to detail could make wonders for the whole experience: a) tables and benches at the back room have to be sanded smooth to avoid pulling on garment fiber constantly as you move round during mealtime, b) an espresso is not a full tea cup long, c) the wine bottle arrived already open, which does not look very reliable, if I may say so. All of which as easy fixes! Thanks for the nice evening!

Beautiful building, cozy sitting area. Service certainly ok, good waiting times. Explanation of the wine could certainly be better. I'm still missing some experience. Food very tasty, mainly sweet flavours. Main course portion could be larger. Keep up the good work! I'm curious to see how you evolve further. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
