Souvenir - GandBrabantdam

I was really looking forward to eating here. The atmosphere is very romantic, the decoration shows taste. Unfortunately, I found the service artificial and not cordial. The chef was standing in the kitchen with the door open, calling out to an employee. The food (a menu) was ok but not worthy of a star restaurant. After the main course the lady asked if we wanted dessert or cheese. We both said « cheese ». « That's so many euros extra. ». The wine wasn't great either. Very unfortunate, but we will not be back.

I had a fabulous meal!! It was on par with other Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to around the world. Amuse was spectacular and unexpected, the different courses were playful and stellar. I had the 3-course meal with the langoustine and cheese add ons. It was more than enough food as portion sizes were generous without being too much. Every course was perfect and so delicious. Service was spectacular, with someone describing very dish and wine and checking on me every few minutes. I also had the wine pairing which was perfect for each course. The staff was so knowledgeable about their wines and made great recommendations for my extra courses.

Tasty food but very small portions and not always top ingredients. Cozy atmosphere, minimalist, beautifully and stylishly decorated. Service was cool, not really friendly. Very aggressive and unrelenting cancellation policy (60 EUR per person! which puts me off, especially in times of Covid/flu etc. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
