Rangoli Restaurant - Gāndhīdhām

We visited this place for lunch to taste authentic Gujarati cuisine. We had never tasted this cuisine before, but it was a good experience we were able to relish most of the things that were put in our plate. (Pardon I don’t remb the names now) As this was a per person buffet system, so we continued eating the selective dishes which suited our taste buds. The staff was prompt and courteous to ensure we get a quick refill. Overall the ambience was good, clean and hygienic. Cost per plate per person at the time of our visit was 300-400 apprx. I would recommend this place to others if you want to experience authentic Gujarati Thali.

The thali is excellent specially because it offers daal bati which is the surprise element . Its very tasty. All items are tasty with a lot of variety. Service and ambience is good also. The best thali in Gandhidham!

When in Gandhidham city centre and when really hungry, this is the excellent place to get typical Gujarati set meals. No menu card, no headache of choosing. Just go there and expect lightening quick service.It has wide hall with spacious seating. A big steel plate with multiple bowls is quickly arranged. Starters consist of farsan, dahi wada and khaman, Then, main course consists of choice of rotis made of wheat flour or bajra with gud. Generous helping of ghee is accompanied with four or five different urry vegetables. All delicious.At the end, one feels it is too much of a good thing.

The good was tasty, we loved the taste of the food. when the restaurant was fully occupied there was some delay in serving of food. else was great expirence.
