Cafe Fiction - Gangtok

The breakfasts here were amazing! The bacon and eggs were so flavorful. I don’t like bacon or sausage but unlike the crispy, crunchy flavorless bacon in America this was juicy, flavorful and chewy. The sausage was dense, flavorful and not fatty. The sunny side eggs were delicious with toast. The strawberry milkshakes and coffee were the best in any of the four Gangtok cafes we tried. The momo’s were unique and delicious. The ambience is like a European cafe with a slide through door for the entrees. We enjoyed the books as we ate and loved the selection of English hardcover books for my grandchildren. Book prices are cheaper than the US. The lady in the bookshop was chatty and engaging. In a class of its own. Not a big dessert selection so come for the food and drinks. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've tried lemon ingwer honigte with momos. one of the best monos I found. in combination with the bookstore rachna it was a great experience.

Good food. the manager was polite, reckless and smiling. the best part of the caffe is the bookstore. with distance the best book collection and they can sit on a place and read endlessly. crosswords should learn from this place.
